I have recently established that my ancestors came from the townland of Ballybrack in the civil parish of Dunbullogue. Given that the births and marriage dates I am looking for are pre-registration, is it worth trying to contact the local church to try and locate any records? Does the townland of Ballybrack still exist? Can anyone tell me please where the local Catholic church might be in that area? Many thanks.
