I am seeking information on the following family from Scart, Kildorrery, Co. Cork. Patrick Myers/Meyers married Ellen Haly/Healy in Kildorrery on 24 February 1824. Patrick was from Scart Townland. They had the following offspring: Ellen, 8 October 1824 - Sponsors: Thomas Myres/Margaret Cotter. Catherine, 10 May 1827 - Sponsors: John Haley/Mary Myers. Margaret, 2 January 1830 - Sponsors: John Coughlan/Mary Haley. Mary, 26 August 1832 - Sponsors: James Cotter/Catherine Walsh. William, 25 November 1835 - Sponsors: William Walsh/Catherine Walsh. Mary Walsh emigrated to the United States before 1861 and married a Thomas Irving in Minnesota. It should be noted that there were two other Myers families in Scart at the same time and they appear in the Tithe Applotment Book for 1836.
