Peggy, Check out www.seanruad.com the Irish Townlands database it contains an entry in county Cork Townland AKA Acres County Barony Civil Parish PLU Province Ahakeera 620 Cork, W.R. East Carbery (W.D.) Fanlobbus Dunmanway Munster You might want to take a look at Jean Prendergasts site at www.corkancestors.com, she has extracted records from various sources that might be of use to you. Someone, on the Irish Newsgroup, posted some extracts from a book that listed what was available in the way of school records etc but I can't remember her name. Perhaps someone on this list may also remember. My grandfather attended the school and I believe my great grandmother may have also taught there. His name was Jeremiah Buckley and hers was Mary Buckley. Any help would be greatly appreciated. How can I also get copies of school records?
