I am still as far away from finding my people as I was five years ago. Their names are so common and I have to idea where to proceed from here. In the Griffith's Valuation I found James Connolly- Ballinaspigmore, St. Finbar's, Cork, also William Connolly, Bandon Rd., St. Finbar's Cork. Both of these names are similar to my people but the spelling of Conley is different. William Conley was born in 1828. I think he was literate. Would people have been spelling their names in different ways at that time? Would it matter? I also found a Margaret Cullen , Barrack St., Kinsale. Other names I am researching are Mary O'Brian/O'Brien and Michael Cullen. All as far as I know from Cork. Where do I go now? Do I order films from the LDS for all of these areas? I'm going to Cork in September but am only there for four days so don't expect to have time to do much research. Looking for: Michael Cullen, Margaret Cullen b. 1842, Elizabeth Cullen b. circa 1836 ,Mary O'Brian, James Conley/Connolly/William Conley/Connolly/ wife of James Anne, perhaps maiden name of Murray.
