I have just read a glowing review in History Ireland of the Atlas of Cork City. This book may be useful to genealogists as the review says that the book has 38 chapters from 59 contributors as well as over 200 maps. It looks as though the chapter called The city in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries would be useful. I have tried to buy the book but it is sold out in all of the bookshops in Cork city but stocks are due back in this week.
