Cork. but, in reality, it is a single townland of nearly 1000 acres, inconveniently split between the civil parishes of Kilcrumper and Kilworth. The townland stretches from one mile NW of Kilworth village to three miles NNW of it. And Kilworth is where the nearest churches are. In the center of the village of Kilworth itself is a Church of Ireland church. I don't know its name or have any information beyond its denomination. I've never been able to decipher the C of I websites. The RC church is St. Martin's, also located on the main street (R 667) of Kilworth village, but a quarter-mile SE of the center of the village. For contact information regarding the RC church, go to the catholicireland website at: >> http://www.catholicireland.net/parishes/dioceselist.php << (that's the page I always keep bookmarked). Go down to the Diocese of Cloyne line, then over to the "Parishes" link. Click on that, and you'll get the list of all of the RC parishes in the diocese of Cloyne. Go down to "Kilworth" and click on "Parish Details". That will give you the information for the parish churches in that parish. Incidentally, the second church in the RC parish, at Araglin, is about 7 miles east of Ballinrush, and not a likely candidate for you. .............................................................................. ...
