The four provinces of Ireland are Munster, Leinster, Ulster and Connaught. County Cork is in the southernmost province of Munster. Dublin is in Leinster. Ulster has nine counties, only six of which are in Northern Ireland. Connaught is where Oliver Cromwell vowed to send rebels if not to hell.
