As far as I am aware (as of October this year) I think you can do as many searches of the indexes as you like in any one day. You can only request volumes covering 5 years at a time though. But you can do this any number of times per day. There may be a limit on how many certs you can request copies of in a day? Not sure of this as I didn't order any this time. The rules/conditions are clearly set out in the research room. You can also check their website at http://www.groireland.ie/ - look at Research to see the details. The staff are very helpful and obliging although also extremely busy (and have to deal with some quite demanding customers!). Hope this is useful.
