We will be supporting the Rebel County on Sunday. The part of Wales I come from is indebted to County Cork, it is there many settled during and after the Famine. When I hear of the Great Christy Ring, it brings back memories of a Johnny Ring who played International Rugby Union and Rugby League for Wales and his a descendant of Rings from County Cork, he may even have been related. That is something I will have to look into. I will be holidaying with my wife in the Glengarriff area last week of September, so keep the Red flags flying. By the way Johnny Ring was from Aberavon, Port Talbot, my own town. Lets skin the Cats on Sunday. John Patrick Griffiths
