Hello everyone An impossible question I imagine but you never know unless you ask! My 3xgt-grandmother was Hannah MADAN. She was born ca 1820 in Cork - no, I don't know exactly where. She married Edward CRICKMORE, bn ca 1812 Suffolk. I would love to find her birth and marriage. I have no idea where or when the latter took place and I have done a pretty full search of the Sheffield area where their first known child was born - James CRICKMORE, 20 February 1840 at Sheffield Barracks. Edward was in the 1st Royal Dragoons - they had five children in all born all over the UK... I have quite a lot of info about the family this side of 1840 but I don't think it's going to help this search. If anyone could help, I can't tell you how grateful I'd be. They've been my brick wall for too long. Otherwise, can anyone point me in the right direction? I realise many Irish records were destroyed but am not totally au fait about when...
