    3. A WWI draft record refers to someone's father as being from Limerick, Cork, Ireland. Has anyone ever heard of any Limerick placename in county Cork? I've seen instances where births that occurred in County Cork were registered with a Registrar's District over the line in County Limerick, but the person in question was born before the start of Civil Registration. Any ideas? -dja

    3. The only obvious answer is the Draftee got it all wrong - didn't he/she? There is only one Co. Limerick, and likewise, only one Limerick city. **** Reply to LIST only, please. Thank you. 3. Just back to genealogy from an unavoidable leave of absence... My heart skipped a beat when I started to read this one. I thought my wall had toppled, what a shame! At this point, can someone tell me if there were ever any records keep of whom an indoor servant would have been indentured to, in Limerick or Cork? (My ancestor was native of Cork, indentured as an indoor servant, and tried in Limerick assizes. Thus, I have always assumed he worked in Limerick, erred and caught in Limerick.) Any ideas, anyone?
