    1. O'Holleran from County Cork to Canada
    2. Dear List, My great-great-grandmother, Margaret M. O'Holleran (name from my great-grandmother's death certificate in Detroit, Michigan) was born in County Cork according to two of her daughters. I realize the name can be spelled many ways. Margaret was born c. 1826. She seems to have married a soldier named William CARR (born c. 1808), prior to 1844, their first child was born in Newfoundland that year. William was born in Northumberland, and was a Protestant. Margaret and all the nine children were Catholic. The family later moved to London, Ontario and later to Sarnia, Ontario. William had a pension from the army by then and was a night watchman at the railroad in London, Ontario. All his sons and daughters were connected with the railroad.
