Bob, According to John Grenham, "The official destruction of the census returns for these two years [1871 & 1881] was commendably thorough." All that remains are transcripts in the Catholic registers of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford (1861), and Drumcondra and Loughbraclen, Co. Meath (1871).
