I have McCarthys from Kanturk. We were there last March and met Jack McCarthy, a prize winning butcher. I also have Corbetts from nearby. I have a Charles/Peter McCarthy married to Catherine Reardon. They had several children including my grgrandfather, Charles P. McCarthy who was married to Julia Ann Corbett. They married in Cincinnati OH and moved to Atlanta GA. Charles/Peter and Catherine were immigrants. Julia Corbett was born in Co. Cork near Kanturk Susan
