I am seeking any info on O'Connors or Connors in Cork. My Thomas O'Connor married a Joanna Donovan about 1842. She was 17 years his senior, but we do not know where they came from in Cork. They had three sons born in Cork: John Timothy b 1844 Thomas b abt 1846 David b abt 1850. David was rebaptised in Merthyr Tydfil Wales at age 3. I am from John and have no clue what happened to the other sons, but the parents died abt 1895 at #39 Quarry Row, Merthyr Tydfil, and son David was in attendance at their deaths. We have family stories about Davie being in the British military, and about his being a farmer. He married a Kenkins, but was never around for the censuses. I know this is a stretch, but I have to try for O'Connor connections in Cork. Regards, Candi in California
