I am wondering if anyone owns this book that was published from ads from a New York City newspaper. This book is now out of print. I have searched all of the books published from the ads in the Boston Globe for my ancestors. I would think the ads in the Irish-American newspaper were not necessarily duplicates to those in the Boston Globe. Please contact me off list if there is anyone able to do lookups. Many thanks. I don't owned that book, but I just took out the Voices of the Irish Immigrant book from my local library, which is a compilation of ads in the Truth Teller, New York's first Catholic newspaper. It covers years 1825-1844 - same authors as the The Irish-American. If anyone wants me to lookup anything, just let me know.
