I read every posting to the Irish web sites and have yet to see someone searching my family. My father, James Francis Chambers, was born to Charles Chambers and Johanna Mahoney in or near Dunmanway and christened in St. Patricks in Dunmanway around 1882. Does anyone have any information? Rose, The Family History Library has a listing in their new search facility http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/#p=2;t=searchable;c=1408347 for James Chambers birth in the Jul-Sep quarter of 1882. The Microfilm is #0101058 Volume 5 Page 237. A James Chambers is also listed in the United States Census of 1900 at Steeltown Borough, Dauphin, Pa. born Ireland 1882 and Immigration year 1885. I have no idea if he is one and the same. In www.familysearch.org, under the IGI, a child Richard was born or christened to Charles Chambers & Johanna Mahoney 1 October 1878.
