Hi List, Would SKS on this list have access to the Parish Registers for Co Cork ? I am trying to establish the parents of Mary Anne Steff (could also be spelt STIFF) born in Cork sometime around 1828. The Australian State of Victoria has an 1870 record for the death of Mary Ann , which gives her age as about 40 ish, and also mentions she was born in Cork, but does not indicate the names of her parents. Did she marry in Australia? If so her parents names should be on the marriage certificate. Hi Judie, Thanks for your message re Co Cork records. To answer your question. No - Mary Ann Steff did not marry in Australia, she married in Kilkeevan Co Roscommon on 26th April 1845.
