Hi again Helen - on M Grogan's website there is some information regarding Castletownroche/Ballyhooley: http://myhome.ispdr.net.au/~mgrogan/cork/cork_rc.htm Not sure what date this was done so the contact details may be out of date. But a letter to the PP in either place (or both) might get a response. Worth a try if you haven't already done this. At least it might establish what records survive for Ballyhooley. According to John Grenham - Mallow has the Casteltownroche records but he does not mention Ballyhooley. However on the Irish Times Ancestors site (which I think John Grenham administers) the same information is recorded under the heading Castletownroche/Ballyhooley, with the added information that it does not include originals held in local custody. http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/browse/counties/rcmaps/corkerc.htm Sorry this is not more helpful to you. Best wishes, Patsy Subject: Re: Mallow records >I emailed Mallow this AM. I found 2 listings for David and Castletownroche > is not it - no records matched.
