The BC database is at http://infowanted.bc.edu/ but as far as I know it is still a work in progress. There isn't any indication on the website as to what percentage of the ads have been indexed. So, if you search the database and do not find who you are looking for, that doesn't mean they are not in the series. The surest thing is to go and look in the index of each volume in hardbound, or get the CDROM from New England Historic & Genealogical Society.
