Can anyone tell me which micro-films I would order from the LDS for the 1901 and 1911 census for Skibbereen town? I don't know what the D.E.D stands for. _________________________________________________________________ Share photos with friends on Windows Live Messenger http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9650734
Hi Virginia, I think it means District Electoral Division, Skibb is a DED for a small fee, you can get a lot of info here: http://www.skibbheritage.com/census.htm Brendan ----- "virginia bell" <[email protected]> wrote: > Can anyone tell me which micro-films I would order from the LDS for > the 1901 and 1911 census for Skibbereen town? Virginia, The 1901 census doesn't have any information except DED #'s. For a LDS film you will first need the Civil parish, then the townland for 1911 census which will give you the DED #'s. The 1901 census will have the same DED #'s. On the www.familysearch.org website I went to history library catalog and clicked on keyword search then entered 1901 census Skibbereen Cork. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of virginia bell Sent: Thursday, April 23, 2009 7:12 PM To: [email protected] Subject: census Skibbereen Can anyone tell me which micro-films I would order from the LDS for the 1901 and 1911 census for Skibbereen town?
