Mary Just about marriage ages there are a number of differing accounts and views re average Irish marriage ages but you may find this book Ireland -A New Economic History 1780-1939 by Cormac Ó Gráda interesting. A preview is available on google books. See page 9 and following where he discusses marriages ages and rates.
