I second Mary's request: does anyone know of a map that overlays civil and church parishes? Years ago I tried exercising my feeble PhotoShop capabilities to create one, but most of the maps I had were hand-drawn (although published) and not detailed enough. I know it's important: in my own Connolly family from Cork, nominally my family members belonged to Kilmacabea parish, and that's where their vital statistics are recorded, in Leap. But the family graveyard was at the old church at Drinagh West, which was physically closer--and in a different parish. If we could superimpose townlands over parish boundaries, it would be very helpful.
