Hi folks, Name changes happen for different reasons.One researcher told the story of the groom getting drunk on his buck's night.Still hung over the next day,he signed the wedding register.Unfortunately he omitted the O' from his surname,and thus started a new surname .This made it a bit difficult for the descendant many years later when doing the family history.I enjoy this forum and hope one day to find the O'Donnells from Marybrook/Kilbrin.Thanks for all your good works folks. >From Barbara Walsh Australia
