Sheila, Do you know if any of your Connollys were a James Joseph or James Maurice, born around 1816 to 1820? Mine married a Catherine Lucy (Her sister was Hanora Lucy of Skull parish, who married John Sullivan of Bearhaven) but I have been trying to track my James for years. They went to Canada, then New York, then Ohio, then finally settled in Missouri. I have found many spellings but family lore says Connolly was the original.
