    3. Sheila, If you have a scanner, you can make your own overlays using the maps in "A New Genealogical Atlas of Ireland" by Brian Mitchell, 2nd ed. ISBN 0-8063-1684-5. From the work I am doing on plaenames in Co. Tipperary, I can give a warning that the boundaries of the church parishes changed a lot over time, and there is the rare change in the boundaries of a civil parish.
