Huguenots Hi Margaret just a bit more information on them. My Fanjeaux were Huguenots and also left Tours, France at the Edict of Nantes and went to London, England and changed the spelling a bit. One of the sons was shipped by transport for stealing a dead man's trousers off a line to Maryland and pressed into service during the Rev. War. Then he got to Pa and joined the Loyalists really changing the spelling of of Fanjeaux to Fanjoy and eventually ended up in NB. He was called "William the Traveler" and is my ancestor.
