    3. Hi All, I am new to the list and have been searching for years to find where my ancestors Timothy Connery and Mary Sheahan originated in County Cork. Family lore is that Tim and Mary were married in the late 1840s in "a small town outside Cork city" and then walked to the boat. I cannot find them in any ship's list although I did find a Tim and Mary Conroy, which might be them. Tim's death certificate does not have parents' names and I have never been able to find Mary's death information for parentage as she married Charles McCarthy after Tim died. Finding a Mary McCarthy in the New York City archives is daunting. Does anyone have any Connery or Sheahan roots in Cork and if so, could you share information about the area(s) they came from? Looking forward to being a part of the Cork list.
