    3. Hi Lorraine - I would be interested in seeing the photo - I have a few photos of the Baldwin siblings at an unidentified location which I suspect may be Codrum - they appear to have been taken around the early 1920s judging by the style of dress and the age of the subjects. "My" Baldwins were in-laws so I have not done a lot of research into them. Samuel Welply Baldwin married Mary Dennehy (my connection) in Macroom on 7 Feb 1899 and they had four children, Mona, Nellie, Sam & Austin. Samuel W Baldwin was a miller and draper and had several business interests in Macroom - he also was a Justice of the Peace and at one stage I believe Chairman of the Urban District Council - he is also credited with bringing electric lighting to Macroom. Samuel's father's name was James according to the marriage cert. I think he had a brother also in Macroom - Edward or Edwin to the best of my recollection. 3. Caroline I will send scan of photo off list. Would, if I may, have a look at Baldwin photos. I would speculate that your S.W.Baldwin was my relative. The Baldwins of Cork married widely.
