    2. Rita, re your message, which I have copied below, how can your gr grandfather be born ca 1920 and his wife in 1830? Please check your dates and give us the facts again. If they are born in 20th century, there are plenty of records. If they are born so early in the 19th, you are not likely to find them. And have you collected EVERY CANADIAN record, including tombstones, church records newspapers/obituaries land or city directory records ship and immigration records for not only these people but all their siblings, cousins, etc., and then also the people who lived around them and/or attended the same church? Also, would all of you when answering a post not include every other message preceding it, especially whole digests. It makes it very difficult for us in Digest mode to read individual new posts. thanks. His name was James O'Callaghan and I can't find him anywhere.. It could be because of conflicting birth dates and you can't say anything about WOMEN lying about their age anymore, but he is hiding somewhere and I can't find him. Since you mentioned Callaghan in your message I'm wondering if you have a James in there somewhere. Can't afford to pay for research as I'm on a Canada pension and it doesn't amount to diddly squat and certainly doesn't cover genealogy research, not at the prices they charge in Ireland. Could someone please help. His children were named Maggie. Annie, Bridget and Daniel but they were all born in Canada but his wife was Ann Graham born Nov. 10, 1830 in Ireland..no county named. I'm praying someone can help. Oh yes they were Roman Catholic. Cheers Rita in Prince Edward Island, Canada<

    2. Rita Offer
    3. OOPS been doing so much research with the 1901 and 1911 census in Canada that I typed the wrong date. He was born in 1816/18/20/22 and died in 1910..Sorry about that. His son Daniel is reported in the newspaper obituary as "being abroad" at the time of death..which I assume meant he returned to Ireland. I can find all his son James Williams children (excluding my dad??) as being born in Canada but assume all James Children were born in Ireland. Since my pension doesn't allow me to spend big hunks of cash, which some Irish sites are asking for, I can't do much from here. THANKS in advance for any help.
