I have two queries. The first concerns a possible article in Cork County newspapers, which do not yet appear to be on line. For the period October, 1885 through April, 1886 is there any mention of a crime or problem in the area of Castletownroche (a town between Fermoy and Mallow). I am looking for one that may involve a John Mehigan, although I would be interested in other names too. The second concerns the tithe appolotments for the Cork County parishes of Kilavullen and, if not included in Kilavullen , Annakissa. I would like to obtain a copy of the tithe applotments for these areas. I am particularly looking for members of the Bushe family, especially Cornelius and Jeremiah who were supposedly evicted from their lands as defaulters.
