When I saw the name Alice Cousins I immediately thought Wexford. I have been looking at a possible connection to Alice Cousin born 1875 in Wexford dtr of Thomas Cousins and Alice Qunn married 1863 in Wexford. I have other info if these are the same one. What were the children of this couple named. You did not give gfathers name so I could not search later census. I did a check in the 1901 census (due to naming pattern) for Alice Cousins in Ireland and only 5 came up. 4 were in Wexford. Hi all Thanks to all who replied to my message . My grandfather's name was James Jones . In 1882 ,James and Alice were living in Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire where their daughter Edith Letitia was born . They weren't to be found in the 1891 /1901 census although Edith was in Glamorganshire in 1891 recorded on the census as a niece to a Sarah and Thomas Jones and in 1901 was back in Aberystwyth working as a maid . I have a suspicion that Alice may have died before 1891.On the 1911 welsh census ,James was with Edith and her family in Cardiganshire . I haven't been able to find any other children born to James and Alice . Once again , many thanks regards, Buddug Hollett ----- Original Message ----- From: <rolfes@comcast.net> To: <irl-cork@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, October 28, 2010 10:58 PM Subject: Re: Swain and Cousins > > > When I saw the name Alice Cousins I immediately thought Wexford.
