Hi John, I notice the original reference to this name mentions Dunmanaway as the parish. Looking on a list of townlands for Dunmanaway there is one possibility, which you may already have considered and discarded, and that is Derrylahan. I wonder if the priest abbreviated the name and it then looked like Dinlahan?? (or had bad handwriting!!) Just a thought. The lister Maggie mentioned is, I think, Pete who signs himself Peter Scherm - he has great knowledge of townlands and his views would be worth having on this.
