I have 2 records that cite a birth and baptism in Dromtarriff RC Parish in County Kerry. The 2 address are listed as Gurrane and Rathcoole. The date range was 1858-1860. I have searched maps but cannot find these locations. I understand that Dromtarriff RC Parish is the easternmost point of County Kerry. It is just west of Milstreet, County Cork. There are several issues involved here Dromtarriff may also be known as Glenflesk RC Parish depending on which map you choose. I believe this parish spills over into County Cork but cannot proove as I still could not find those two addresses within a reasonable distance to the border. Dromtariff RC Parish roughly coincides with Killaha, civil parish in County Kerry. Can anyone provide some insight into this one for me here? Thanks in advance. John
