I have the same problem. My GrGf was born in Cork ca. 1807-1815, with brothers born in 1795 and 1800-1809. I have yet to find a church record for any of them. There are some Cork records from the 1700's on the site, but there's never been a "hit" to my relatives. I'm still waiting for the western and southern Cork records to post. In the meantime, I try not to drive myself crazy over these early records...chances are they disintegrated from being handled/moved around. Happy hunting, Trish Daly
Oh ya and with the Riordan there are so many of them all over Ireland!!! ________________________________ From: Patricia <dalytoo@sbcglobal.net> To: irl-cork@rootsweb.com Sent: Mon, September 20, 2010 1:13:15 PM Subject: Re: Old Parish Records in Cork I have the same problem. Trish - what townland and surname are you looking for? I have 150 pages of parish records for West Cork - from around Skibbereen and Baltimore.
