    1. Looking for a townland in the Dunmanway, West Cork area
    2. Jan
    3. I have asked about a townland before, hoping someone will have family who has come from there. I can look at a list of townlands and take an educated guess as to where it might be, but there is the possibility that this townland has been absorbed by another townland. The name is spelled as Dromilisheen, Droumlisheen, Droumlishun, and Dromlishan. The following Dunmanway marriage records identify this townland: 2-11-1823: Johanna Mahony m William Buckly (both of Droumlisheen) Peter Mahony and Jeremiah Buckly Michael Mahony m Norry Harrington 8-31-1824: Ellen Mahony; sp Patrick Mahony and Ellen Crowly (Droumlishun) M. Mahony m Cat Brien 10-23-1825: Ellen Mahony; sp Daniel Driscoll and Julia Mahony 2-14-1836: Timothy Coakley m Johanna Mahony (both of Droumlisheen) wit Jeremiah Mahony and James Coakly (Crone) Jeremiah Mahony m Elizabeth Maybry 4-21-1839: Timothy Mahony; sp Henry Maybry and Elizabeth Webb John Mahony m Betty Webb 4-24-1838: Honora Mahony; sp Michael Mahony and Ann Wayytall 5-7-1845: John Mahony; sp Jeremiah Mahony and Honora Walsh John Mahony m Susan Webb 4-18-1840: Jeremiah Mahony; sp George Webb and Ann Mahony 2-20-1844: John Sullivan m Catherine Mahony (both Dromlishan) wit Patt Mahony and Mick Sullivan John Mahony m Elizabeth Kelly 8-20-1848: Mary Mahony; sp William Buckly and Nanno Murray (Dromalisheen) Thank you, Jan
