The 2 address are listed as Gurrane and Rathcoole. The date range was 1858-1860. I have searched maps but cannot find these locations. I understand that Dromtarriff RC Parish is the easternmost point of County Kerry. It is just west of Milstreet, County Cork. There are several issues involved here Dromtarriff may also be known as Glenflesk RC Parish depending on which map you choose. I believe this parish spills over into County Cork but cannot proove as I still could not find those two addresses within a reasonable distance to the border. Dromtariff RC Parish roughly coincides with Killaha, civil parish in County Kerry. Can anyone provide some insight into this one for me here? Thanks in advance. 3. Jackie Thank you for your offer. This is an offshoot of my German side so I am quite startled to be back in the same area as all my Irish began. Here we go: >From *Irish Genealogy* site I found in Dromtariff Parish, Diocese of Kerry: Marriage of JAMES KELIHER of NR and MARY CRONIN of GURRANE on 19 June 1859 Baptism of HONORA KELIHER of RATHCOOLE on 22 January 1860 , dau of James Keliher & Mary Cronin. I am suspecting this Honora Keliher married Patrick Jones of Feakle, County Clare on 6 Jun 1881 in St Peter & Paul's of Cork City. One son Michael's baptism has been found in St Peter & Paul's of Cork City in 1884. We are missing the baptism of the eldest: Mary Josephine Jones, dau of Pat & Honora Mary (Keliher) Jones born 1882-83. *Any help on this Keliher/Cronin/Jones family would be much appreciated. * This Jones family came to NYC shortly after 1884 and Patrick and sons were very prominent in NY School system and athletic adminstration. The eldest daughter Mary Josephine married one of my Steitz.
