Noted your McGrath/Gallagher origins; seems same area as some of our ancestry of earlier dates ( prob 1695 - 1740's) We have unproven indications that members of our JASON HASSARD, James CARSON & THOMAS WILSON fam.s lived in CARN area in Donegal, (very close to Tyrone Co line), close to Pettigo. Would be glad to hear if you or anyone on list may have any clues about these families. Believe either ROBERT or RICHARD HASSARD (sons of old JASON HASSARD of GardenHill in Fermanagh whose 1690 will named these sons) lived there and we descend from REBECCA HASSARD who married JAMES CARSON (their dau CATHERINE CARSON md THOMAS WILSON - they and 7 Wilson sons and Her younger brother JOHN CARSON immigrated to Amer about 1760's, fam. notes said then from ENNISKILLEN) We know there were Carsons in Pettigo.
