    3. This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_YH2znCDTsbAjA8dsJCLL0A) Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT Dear Rob and Liam, Thank you both very much for your help and suggestions. I have checked the Tithe Applotment website Rob and as you say - 4 variations of Ferghal. The townland of Doare has two Fargil Boyles, one Charles Boyle and also Magees, so would seem to be the likely area my ancestors lived. Charles and Sarah`s Bounty Certificate suggested that they were married in St. Marys Derrybeg by Rev. Hugh McFadden in 1834. Derrybeg and Doare are quite close, so circumstantially the Boyles of Doare could be mine. I would appreciate the list of Boyles and Magees on the Flax List - they will be useful as more information is uncovered. Also could you list McBrides Rob, they are Charles wife`s family. I will follow you suggestion Liam and search the Griffiths Valuation, it will be interesting to see how many Doare Boyles and Magees have survived till that time. The 1901 census may be a bit far away in time from Charles` departure from Ireland but certainly worth a check for Fearghal and the multitude of variations. My middle name is spelt Farigill - a spelling that has only been used for the last three generations in my family - it is certainly a name you can tinker with ! 3. Hi again Peter, just as an aside, Madgy Boyle's youngest daughter Celia McCole was baptized by Hugh McFadden at St Mary's Derrybeg in 1868, I think I mentioned in a earlier email that Madgy Boyle had a brother Cornelius Boyle who came to Sydney with the Donegal relief fund. All we have been able to find out about Cornelius is that he was from Gweedore and that he married Catherine Gallagher and they had one son Manus. Celia McCole's Godparents were Francis and Maria Gallagher. We know that the McCole's farmed lot 24 in Ardnagappary, Tullahobegley, Kilmacrennan. There neighbours were Devers/Divers, Duggans and McBrides. I was helped on the Donegal list by some wonderful people, I would never have been able to get any of the information I did had it not been for a couple of the list regulars. I hope you have heaps of success finding more information on your Boyles, I will be happy to share whatever I have on our Boyle side. Take care Maureen -----Original Message----- From: Peter Boyle [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, 19 September 2003 4:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [DONEGAL] BOYLE in Tullaghobegly - thanks.
