Hello Maureen, Sorry I`m a bit slow out of the blocks replying to you post. It would seem that your BOYLE ancestor (and others) came from the same townland as mine so I would be interested if you could send me what you have on this branch of your family. Briefly my family is as follows: CHARLES & SARAH BOYLE arrived Sydney NSW 1841 as bounty immigrants with children Edward and Margaret. Two children, Daniel and Grace were left behind in Donegal and came out to Australia in 1856. CHARLES` parents - FARIGILL BOYLE & MARGARET MAGEE. SARAH`S parents - PETER & MARGARET McBRIDE. CHARLES & SARAH were married 14 Febuary 1834 St. Marys Derrybeg. That is all I know for certain of the family in Donegal. Your Celia Cole information was interesting, Rev.Hugh McFadden was also given as a referee on CHARLES & SARAH`S bounty certificate. Did people such as Cornelius who immigrated with the Donegal Relief Fund have any documentation similar to a bounty certificate or were they just a name on a list? I guess you have his BMD certificates, Aust. certificates often have more information than you expect, I have had a couple of pleasant surprises. All the best with your searches, Peter
