My wife's ggrandfather was stationed in at least three different barracks in Donegal, if birth locations testify to where he was stationed. His first three children (1867, 1868, 1869) were born in Coleraine, Derry where he met and married his wife. She either returned to her parents for the birth or did not accompany him to "the wilds of Donegal".
