    3. Thanks Ernie, That puts me down to 18 films of indexes for sure. One family is on Inch Island, the second is in Co. Louth. How does one figure out the what the districts would be? Is it possible to get a cert without ordering in the volumes? I am not to worried on the Rundle (1866 to 1887) name in Louth but I think the McGinley (1885-1899) name in Donegal may give me some more trouble. Are the indexes typed or hand written? I have had look up info in England's BMD that is hand written. That can be hard to read. Sorry about all the questions, you are the first person who I have been able to ask these of. The index is the way I went because they list all the "Lastname, Firstname, RegistrationDistrict,Volume,Page".
