Dear Listers, Could I please impose on someone to look up the 1851 census for Hugh and Martha O'Brien. My grgrgrandfather came to Ontario Canada in 1822. He was single and said when he applied for land in 1823, that he was from Donegal. Now my cousin has found a reference in a book called Families of County Donegal by Michael C. O'Laughlin. "The Old Age Pension Records in Belfast, taken in the 1851 census shows HUGH and MARTHA O'Brien, at FORTSTEWART,AUGHNISH, KILMACRENAN, Co. DONEGAL." If the census has more information, and this is my grgrgrandfathers parents, it will be a tremendous breakthrough for me. Thank you in advance. Bunny, B.C.
