    3. Hi Connie, The Raphoe PC records start in 1829. I also am researching STEVENSONS and so have a little on the family you are researching. A friend researched these church records for me for LOWRYS and was able to document STEVENSONS only through 1832. The Baptism records showed: John Stevenson Martha Allen Muntertiney d. Jane born 2 Dec 1830. I believe from looking at the Donfam site that other children may have been born in 1827(Jane), 1833(Margaret), 1834, and 1839(Mary). The Marriage records of Raphoe PC show a David Stevenson, son of John and Mary Ann Stevenson of the Established Church marrying Jane McConnell on 2 June 1831, daughter of Moses and Margaret McConnell of Raphoe PC. Witnesses were Moses McConnell and James Allen and ? Thompson. My Stevensons were probably on the Abercorn Estate which was largely the Parish of Taughboyne, north of the Parish of Raphoe. The records of the Abercorn Estate and its tenants are very good for the most part. Hope this helps.
