    3. Hello there Tracey I wish you luck in your research and hope you find what you are looking for. We have Charles Shields Born 1862 in Dunfanaghy who married Mary or Bridget Duddy in Letterkenny, Co Donegal in 1887. Charles and wife came to Glasgow and settled in Muirhead Street, Partick, Glasgow. Charles' parents from his Scottish Death Cert were Patrick Shields and Mary Sheridan. It would be good if we could link up somewhere. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tracey" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 13, 2004 3:24 AM Subject: [DONEGAL] McFaddens, Shields > Hi, > > I am writing from Australia, and I am trying to research the following > people. > > Manus McFadden married Mary Shields 09.04.1882 at Carrigart, Donegal, > Ireland > > They had three children in Ireland, Manus (b1883), Sophia (b 1885), and > Andrew (b 1887) then the moved to Glasgow, Scotland where they had 4 more > children and Mary died shortly after the last child. > > Mary's parents are Charles Shields and Sophia McFadden and they were farmers > and they had deceased by 1900. > > What I would love to know about these people are any birth details, Charles > and Sophia birth, marriage and death details.
