Hi everyone! Still looking for any details on the Hanlon family from Dungloe. The parents were Patrick HANLON and Catherine Elizabeth DUDGEON. Their burials are listed on the Donegal site. Catherine lived to be very old - 101 yrs and died 1909 and Patrick died 1889. Some of their children immigrated to Queensland Australia. Thomas William Hanlon in 1860s James William Edgar Hanlon and George Grant Clinton Hanlon in 1874 and possibly a cousin, Elizabeth Hanlon whose parents were Moses Hanlon and Jane Hunter. It would seem that Patrick Hanlon and Catherine Dudgeon married about 1830s. All the known children of this couple: Sam (ran a hotel in Dungloe and remained in the area).
