By the way, Templemore parishes (both RC and C of I) are in Derry, not Donegal. Here's the URL: >> http://www.catholicireland.net/parishes/parishdetails.php?ID=506 << Pete Schermerhorn, in the glorious Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts
Peter, Thank you for the webpage link. I had done a search of the LDS online data for this name and the submitter listed the place for the marriage exactly as I submitted it to the list. I had done a search for such a place and found none, however not knowing if one existed in the 1748-58 time frame I had been given... I submitted what I had been given as a marriage place for them. This is my first search of anything Irish and I am unfamiliar with the abbreviations you used. I assumed C stood for Catholic, but what does RC stand for in your post? Regards, Virginia Indiana, USA
Virginia, Hello from Down Under, we are new to this mailing list in our search for McGEE history in Donegal. Is there a possibility that there has been a recording error - there is a parish in Donegal called "TEMPLECRONE" ( which is similar !! ) This parish covers the areas around Dungloe, Glenties. Good luck in your search - I hope that we can get some assistance as well from the list. regards Jim Melbourne, Australia (GO Aussies) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Virginia L.
