Dear listers: For me it was a nice surprise to find a branch of my family in Donegal. In a document named "Census of Inishowen Barony, 1659", I found out that O'Deuer was among the "principal Irish names", and that in Donnegal there were 8 persons with that name. Does anyone know WHERE would I found more information regarding to this census and, if possible, the name of these people? In the Mormons site, I found some information of members of the family in Ireland, BUT without the "O'"; so, seems to be that some moment they dropped the "O'" to use only DEUER. Do you know why would that happen?? Any information or comment, would be highly appreciated, because until now I always thought that my name was German, and it is very interesting to know that there exists, also, an Irish branch. Best regards Pastor DEUER [email protected] _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Información de Estados Unidos y América Latina, en Yahoo! Noticias.
