    3. Does anyone know what surnames might be written in 17th century records as McGorlik and Oqueyne? On 3 July 1658, a Scottish precept of clare constat was granted Susilie Oqueyne, spouse of Lachlan McGolrik in Donegal for lands in Ayrshire, Scotland belonging to her deceased uncle, Hugh Lyn. Hugh was a merchant burgess in the town of Irvine, Ayrshire who apparently died childless. Susilie was described as his "sister daughter," meaning daughter of a sister of his. Any help would be appreciated. Loretta
