Hi Folks, Ireland and especially Donegal is heaving with old gravestones. Most Catholic and Presbyterian churches do not have stones pre 1850 because those denominations were not allowed to bury officially until 1845/1864. But Church of Ireland graveyards will have gravestones going back to the 18th century, some of them belonging to Catholics and Presbyterians.
